Deleting Imported Props
Previs Pro 2.1.3 Update - Deleting Imported Props
Deleting props is easy within Previs Pro. Go to import a 3D prop and in the custom props panel you’ll see
You'll be asked to confirm that you want the image deleted. This action cannot be undone.
Pre-Previs Pro 2.1.3
If you cannot update Previs Pro to 2.1.3 for any reason, you'll have to delete the props manually. Below are step-by-step instructions to do so. We strongly encourage you to update to the latest version of Previs Pro.
Also, always back up your project files to iCloud. Instructions are here at https://previspro.com/saveshare
Below are step-by-step instructions how to remove imported props you no longer need.
- Delete that imported prop from all shots in your project. If the prop remains in your project, it can't be removed.
- After you've removed the prop from your project, add the same prop again by going to Draw Mode -> Prop -> Library and tapping on it. (This seems counterintuitive but we want to change this prop from an imported one to a native one so we can delete it.)
- Open its Edit menu
- Tap Replace shape
- Select another built-in prop (like Cube)
- Tap Done on Edit menu
- Now you can go back to the imported props list and tap the trash can.
You must do this for each copy of the prop that might be stuck in your library. If you’ve got 6 copies of it in your Library then you’d have to do the above 6 times.
