How do I add a shot?
You can add up to 676 shots in a scene. Shots start numbered 1A and then 1B and then 1C. At 1Z, shots becomes 1AA and then 1AB. You can continue to shot 1ZZ. At that point, you would have created almost 700 shots for a single scene. We highly advise against this many shots in one scene.
Choose a shot to build off of by selecting it; the selected shot will have a red border.
Press the + in the bottom right corner. The shot you have selected will duplicate. It will appear directly below the original.
Alternatively, you can copy and paste shots.
If you tap a shot, and select 'copy'. Then you can 'paste' the shot anywhere by taping on another shot. It will appear below the one you selected 'paste' for.
Depending on your work flow, you may want to immediately add as many shots as you think you'll need; however, it is easier to build on your shots as you go.
For instance, you could build your set and start with your wide establishing shot, medium shots of each actor and close ups of each actor. You can always delete shots later if they are not favored by the DP.
NOTE: any adjustments you make will not be applied to the shots that you had previously made but they will be applied to all duplications.
