How do I make multiple outfits for one character?
To represent different clothing looks for one character, create multiple versions of them for your cast.
For instance, in this story, our main character Jill is a brunette in the first scene, then she dyes her hair blonde in the second scene, and finally, she goes to a formal dinner. The character must look different in all three scenes.
In the first scene, we want to do a casual look for Jill. So we have to edit her: add skin tone, top, pants, and hair.
Note the aspects of her that will be consistent throughout the piece, and the ones that are expected to change. It is very important that her height is consistent for sake of cinematography. Unless, of course, she's wearing six inch heels.
Once we are satisfied with her appearance, we tap 'Add to Cast', and finally, name the character.
We do the same for scene 2 and 3, adjusting her slowly as the story moves forward. By the end, our cast looks like this:
In the formal version of her, she is meant to be wearing a light blue dress so we represent that by adding this color.
Now that we have all three versions of Jill, if we decide to add a scene anywhere between the major changes in her appearance, she will not need to be recreated; we can simply select her in our cast list.
