Best iPhones and iPads to run Previs Pro
Previs Pro is a graphics-intensive program. It also uses the latest Apple technology such as LiDar, advanced AR modes, and all the best camera features. Therefore, we recommend using the most powerful device you can justify.
Older devices that have just 2GB will run Previs Pro. However, these devices generally have limited functionality for importing multiple 3D Props. It's impossible for us to suggest a number because it depends upon the size of the prop, how many props you've already imported and many other factors.
If you're concerned about your device, we recommend starting with a small prop. Then continue adding more props until you've reached the limit. At that point, we recommend a few things:
1. First, always back up and save your projects to iCloud. Previs Pro does not synch or automatically save your projects outside of the device. Need assistance on saving? See Related Articles below.
2. Turn your device completely off. Wait 30 seconds. Turn it back on. This clears the device memory cache and gives more memory to Previs Pro.
3. Split your project into multiple projects. Starting a new project means you don't have to load an entire project to keep working. Perhaps start a project with 10 scenes and then start another project for 10 scenes. When you're done, you can merge them together for one completely storyboard.
